Why I Asked for a Divorce and The Lessons I have learnt.

Authenticity unlocks God‘s ways and abilities for us.

A brief disclaimer: Take note that we all have different mandates and callings. Note that what you are called to do is not for everyone. My blogs certainly are not for everyone, but those who need to hear these messages and glean from them will do so. I am just a vessel who has availed herself to be used in this way by telling her story and life experiences so it can become someone else’s survival guide.

The purpose of these blogs is not to justify anything. I honestly have been authentic thus far and written it as raw as can be, withholding nothing. No details are given, but the summary of the happenings sends the message it needs to send across. Obedience to me supersedes everything else this world has to offer.

I woke up some months ago around 3 am to record a summary of my relationship journey. I wasn’t sure what the Lord wanted me to do with this recording and am still not sure. I gave a copy to my sister to keep in case it got lost. The passion for ministry regarding what I have been through was so strong, and it has been for quite some time now. I can be very impatient, and I believe God has used even this to teach me patience. He says when the time is right, “I the Lord will make it happen. “ He indeed was not lying.

If you have been following my blogs, you would realize that growing up; I had my marriage all planned out beautifully, my perfect relationship, and my ideal family. This was planned out my way. I can undoubtedly say the God factor was not vital, so when the storms came, I could not withstand them. I honestly really did not even know myself or who I was. Knowing who you are will help you choose well. I had a broken consciousness, and as I stated in a previous blog, I am still trying to figure out how I developed that, although I have an idea now.

To make this not too lengthy and tedious, I will be blogging in segments on this topic, so stay on the lookout for them. Shalom

Adobea, (Imani)
