I had a short conversation with a sister recently, and she encouraged me to keep my eye on the cross, my calling, and live in obedience to what God has called me to do.
She went ahead and said the carnal minds of men would have many opinions into what ought and ought not to be. The Will of God does not make sense sometimes to the canal man. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 1st Corinthians 1:27.
For me, this season of my life has privileged me to come across all kinds of people with all sorts of opinions. I usually tell them if what you tell me is not in line with what I have heard and my calling, then I will rather live in obedience with what the word of God says and What God wants from me. I am sure I have stepped on some toes because, for me, there is no stopping unless God says.
The reason for this blog is that many people are on their journey to fulfill their destinies, and some give up along the way because of the voices around them; Destiny aborters, be mindful of their devices, some will come in sheep's clothing. Be wise as the serpent . “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; therefore be shrewd as serpents and innocent as doves” Matthew 10:16. You need to be well equipped If you want to walk in the Will of God for your life.
