The fruits of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control Galatians 5: 22-23
The Holy Spirit produces the fruit of the spirit, not the individual
The fruit of the spirit takes time to grow; just like any fruit, it does not develop overnight. For a fruit to grow well, the gardener must put a lot of work into it, protecting it against weeds and turs to enjoy the fruit.
Exhibiting the fruits of the spirit will require constant work to rid ourselves of our old patterns that try to get in the way of the Holy Spirit
As Christians, we must allow the Holy Spirit to help us in this area, to give us the power to say no to sin. The Holy Spirit will eventually help us move in the likeness of Jesus only if we allow
