RESTORATION

I admitted a patient recently who was unique in many ways. I had recommended that she see a counselor/ therapist because of a few things she had told me. She said she didn’t want to talk to just anyone for the sake of it, but she needed someone who would counsel her with the support of what the word of God says. This was different because you don’t hear a lot of that these days.

She went on about how God took her through a stripping stage; she had to move from one state to another without having the slightest idea of what she was getting herself into. Long story short, all that was God preparing her to walk in her purpose. She was being repositioned. She said God restored her because she decided to stay in obedience. My goal of helping her that day turned into her ministering to me. As I listened to her, a lot of the things she said were confirmation of many things for me

I want to encourage anyone who has lost anything that the Lord will restore you as if it never happened. Sometimes he takes you through the stripping stage to prepare you and reposition you into destiny. Do not grow weary in the wait.

I never had the slightest idea that the challenges I have faced in my life would be the birthing ground for me to find my purpose in life. The daily blogs you are reading are part of my ministry, which has been birthed out of my own experiences in life, especially in this particular season of my life.

I say the above to encourage you that if you allow God, he will restore you as if it never happened. He will fix everything the locust and cankerworm have eaten, and he will restore you speedily.

His promises in Isaiah 61: 7 say, Instead of your shame, you will receive a double portion,

and instead of your disgrace, you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.

It’s my prayer that you do not grow weary in the wait, instead find your purpose in that situation and pursue it. He is truly a God who restores. Shalom.

Sincerely,

Adobea (Imani)

Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah. Perfectly right. This is what God is capable of doing. In that lost hope, He shows Himself strong.

Out of the eater, brought forth something sweet.
