My 2021 In A Nutshell

Writer's picture: Adobea (Imani)Adobea (Imani)

I finally realized that I was in spiritual warfare, I realized I had been in spiritual warfare since the day I was born.

In my previous seasons, I didn’t have the correct armor, so I almost sulked into the disasters.

I became more aware of the devices of the enemy In 2021.

I realized enough is enough, and patterns had to change. I was tired of going round in circle and it became imperative that I told the devil enough is enough.

People thought I was losing my mind in this season. They thought I had lost it because all of a sudden I decided to be a Jesus girl and a Jesus lover and to profess it publicly unashamedly and withhold nothing

I decided not to conform to societal norms and shrink to their precept. I was tired of doing the norm.

I embarked on the journey of knowing who I am in Christ

I started my worthy journey

I decided to walk in destiny and purpose, which meant letting go of everything that did not align with my divine purpose.

I decided to work on myself by investing in my growth which involved acquiring knowledge. I realized I needed wisdom more than ever in this season.

I decided to tune out of all the noises of this world. If what you tell me is not in line with what I have heard and what the word of God says, forget it.

I decided to stop fighting, let go and let God

God used every painful process and turned it into purpose.

I changed my core

I silenced the voice of the accuser

I decided that I had more in me than I was exhibiting, so I embarked on evolving into a better version of myself and into who God has called me to be.

The devil wanted to make a public spectacle of me this season; he tried to sift me as wheat but he did not succeed.

God rescued me and assured me that he was doing a new thing. He told me he was repositioning me to align me to destiny and purpose.

God aligned me divinely with some great spiritual mentors. Shout out to Faithcity, Pastor Fiifi, Apostle Joshua Selman, Winter Williams, Shannon Yvette, Mildred, Kingsley Okonkwo, Sarah Jakes Roberts, and many more.

My heel was surely bruised but God allowed me to pick up the same foot to crush the serpent’s head and will continue to do so every opportunity I get

To a better 2022 for all of us.

Shalom.
