Yesterday, I blogged on the attributes of love as mentioned in 1st Corinthians 13. Today, I want to blog on Love is patient.
Love is patient. The definition of patience, according to the Oxford dictionary, is when you can accept or tolerate delays, problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious. To love, you have to be able to handle uncertainties, trials, and sufferings without becoming annoyed or anxious.
My blog usually talks about my experiences in life. Have I always exhibited this attribute? Probably not. I don’t think I have pondered on each of these attributes deeply. I believe blogging on it will help me, as well as my readers deduce the deeper meanings of these attributes. The goal is to be more like our maker. To undergo a continual transformation to look more like him. I know we will need the Holy Spirit to help us live in this higher calling.
Today, I urge all my readers to be patient in their dealings with family, friends, and co-workers. My prayer today is for the Holy Spirit to help us walk in patience.
Shalom
Imani
God bless you
