God has done it before, and he will do it again ought to be our assurance. There is nothing he can not do. There is nothing too hard for God.

What is the situation that is making you helpless?
I have had to fight some battles in my mind lately, actions that have made me question a few of God’s promises for my life. I have had to make a conscious effort, and I am still working on bringing these thoughts to the obedience of Christ Jesus.
The assurance for me is God has done it before, and he will do it again. God's promises for us are yes and Amen, and he puts his words above his name. We have to learn to surrender everything to him, not just once, but we have to offer our will to his will daily. We have to rest in his promises and learn not to take the pen to write the script ourselves.
