Finding peace in the middle of the storm will require you to let go and let God. It is when you decide to rest in the goodness of God.
To find peace in the middle of the storm, you have to stop fighting fruitless battles. I have been there and done that; it takes a toll on you physically, mentally, and emotionally. Finding peace in the middle of the storm will require you to rest. Rest is a position of the heart. When we rest, we rediscover and reinvent (Shanon Evette)
Before writing this blog, I was having a conversation with my daughter; she said to me, Mom, you look pleased; she went on to tell me why she thinks I am happy. It is incredible how our nonverbal cues and energy sends signals to other people.
My daughter is very suitable; I am happy because I decided to stop fighting fruitless battles; I chose to focus on myself and find who I am. I decided to pursue purpose. I decided to rest. Although I feel exhausted physically, my mind is at rest. Relaxing for me in this sense does not mean I don’t go to work and labor physically; it just means my heart is at rest. You can rest physically, but yet inwardly your mind could be racing with fears and worrisome thoughts.
In rest, God gives us divine recompense and divine recovery. (Shanon Yvette) . When you rest, you stop manipulating the situation. When you sleep, you can see, think, and hear clearly.
I pray that we will all come to a place of rest to reinvent and rediscover ourselves. Shalom.

There’s a song we usually sing ” when you call him he will answer “
Your prophet determined your rest, your prophet will answer when there’s a storms. Peter called his prophet (Jesus) if you have this man as your prophet he will answer when you call and the storm shall be still and you experienced unusual rest.
It is well Sis
Peace in Christ is the power that is able to calm every storm. Pursue peace to have rest.
