Enjoy The Journey.

Today’s blog is mainly for singles. In our society, especially the African culture, the norm is to marry at a certain age; you will receive pressure from family and friends when you are of age to marry. I remembered a few years ago, my cousin would tell me all his mates were getting married. He wasn't married, and you could say the pressure was on for him around that time.

I want to encourage all the singles to enjoy the journey. Your single season is when you find yourself. Find who you are and, most importantly, your identity in Christ Jesus. You want to grow in this season of your life. You want to acquire all the knowledge about marriage if you are pursuing it. You want to follow a good career path. You want your finances to be in order during this season of your life.

The best gift you can receive is a piece of advice from someone who has experience in certain situations. I Wouldn’t say I knew most of the things I know now. However, I was given some advice here and there during certain seasons of my life. I had no clue what they were saying. The euphoric moments were so intense that I wasn't hearing. These ecstatic moments clouded my judgments on many things.

You know they say the beginning of every relationship is sweet as honey, the challenges will surely come, there is no time for you to get it together during the challenges if you were not well equipped before, let me tell you, when the enemy roars, he roars, he gives you little to no room. That is why it is essential to have all the armor at your fingertips before you marry. Enjoy the process. Shalom.
