Christianity Is Not A Playground.

For the past few days, the Lord has been laying it on my heart to blog on this, and I keep putting it off. I can write a book on this topic; Christianity is not a playground. It’s a battlefield. It saddens me to see how Christians behave in this kingdom, giving the enemy every legal right and grounds to accuse us.

It’s not about quoting scriptures, praying long unavailing prayers, or putting on a mask and calling yourself a Christian; it goes way beyond that. It’s about trying to emulate the CHARACTER of who God is. Yes, we are human, and our flesh would always want to take the lead, but our goal should be to bear good fruits, and we can do this with the help of the Holy Spirit, who is our helper.

Galatians 5:22 talks about the fruit of the spirit, and in the coming days, I will blog on the fruits of the spirit; there will be days that we slip and fall, thank God for the grace of God. However, we should not abuse the grace of God, and we should not deliberately continue to live in sin. Living in sin gives the devil every legal ground to make our lives miserable. And until you know this kingdom's secret and how to petition heaven's courts to silence these accusations against your life, your prayers may never be answered.

There is too much talking and showing in this kingdom with people bearing no good fruits. There is no yearning or desire to emulate who we claim we follow. We Call Ourselves Christians but honestly, what it takes to emulate the character of God is far from our dwelling. What a perverse society? There is so much confusion in this kingdom, and it ought not to be because our God is not an author of confusion.

The Christian life is a battlefield; to survive on a battlefield, you ought to take on the whole armor of God so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:14-17 talks about the whole armor of God. Taking on the full armor of God requires a lot of work on the part of the Christian, and one of them is to bear good fruits.

Shalom,

Imani
