Have you commanded your morning?
Why is it so essential to command your morning?
The days are evil; the devil, our adversary, is roaming around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
In the last five years or so, I have heard about the strange demise of people; some are close friends. The departure of these people has come as a shock. It has propelled me to find out about life. Many years ago, I read the book of Ecclesiastes, which pretty much summarizes Life. The conclusion of the matter in the last few verses of Ecclesiastes says to fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all humanity. He goes to further to say God will bring every deed into judgment
I would not say the sudden demise of these loved ones have put fear in me, but it has opened my eyes and allowed me to put my tentacles up, to pursue God with all I have, yearn to be in tune with spiritual things and not be ignorant of the devices of the enemy.
What we do with today matters, Job says in Job 38:12 that “Have you commanded the morning since your days began, and caused the dawn to know its place?” We have to command our morning, days, weeks, months, and years. The days of just living should be over for many of us. The times are busy; everyone is on the go, life gets so busy that we forget our true purpose. If you don’t take anything at all from today‘s blog. Remember to command your morning every day you are privileged to be alive
Shalom
